Do I meet the weight requirement?

For safety reasons, we are unable to skydive with those over 113kg and the limit may be lowered to 101kg in adverse wind conditions. Kindly note that there is an additional surcharge of THB 1,000 for participants between 91-101kg and THB 2,000 for participants between 102-113kg.

Do I meet the age requirement?

Adult participants of 18 years or older must provide proof of age at check-in with a photo ID or passport. Minors from the age of 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the day of the skydive and both parties must bring a photo ID or passport. Skydivers over 60 must bring a completed Medical Form which can be found in the Download section.

What are the safety risks in skydiving?

Skydiving is inherently an extreme sport but is often misperceived as a dangerous sport. The US Parachute Association recorded an average of one fatality in tandem skydiving per 500,000 skydives over the last 10 years. Statistically, that carries the same risk as travelling only 19.4km by motorbike or 740km in a car.

At Skydive Thailand, we go the extra mile to ensure our safety standards exceed international benchmarks. We hire the best talent, invest in the latest skydiving equipment manufactured in US, Germany and New Zealand, and also fly a Pacific Aerospace P750XL built specifically for skydiving.

Every part of our protocols and procedures are designed with safety as the first priority so that you can jump with the peace of mind.

When should I make a reservation?

We do get fully booked on a regular basis, so it is highly recommended to reserve your skydive early. Walk-ins will not be accepted if we do not have additional capacity. Do note that the latest time to make an online reservation is 6pm Bangkok time the day prior to your intended skydive.

What happens if my schedule does not fit the booking slots?

As our shuttles follow a specific schedule, they cannot accommodate other pickup timing requests. If you are arranging your own transportation to the dropzone, please contact us to check.

How much time should I set aside for the activity?

Usually our customers spend 2.5 hours on site for the whole experience. However, we always recommend taking into consideration the occasional weather delay or unexpected traffic congestion. It is best to not make other daytime commitments and plan ahead for skydiving as a full-day activity.

What are the transportation options to the dropzone in Rayong?

We provide a free shuttle service from downtown Pattaya and may be able to accommodate other pickup locations en route to the dropzone upon request. Otherwise, taking a taxi or hiring a car would be the ideal mode of transportation as there is limited public transport in the vicinity.

Can I bring guests not participating in a skydive?

All adults are welcome at the dropzone. We strongly recommend against bringing children under the age of 7 or pets as there are many serious risk factors for those unable to understand or follow our ground rules.

Please note that the free shuttle service is only available to participating skydivers who have already made a booking.

Can I bring my own camera for the skydive?

You may use your own camera in the facility on the ground, but it must be stored away before the instructor prepares your for the skydive. Any additional equipment brought along on a skydive introduces a safety risk – you might drop it midair, it may tangle in the parachute lines, or even cause an unexpected malfunction. It’s best to leave the job of taking photos and videos to our instructors who are thoroughly trained in operating such equipment.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

In the event of poor weather, all skydiving activity will be suspended until our instructors determine that conditions have improved sufficiently. Weather holds are infrequent at our location and often pass quickly thanks to the sea breeze.

If you have not been picked up and we think it is unlikely you will be able to jump, we will contact you to cancel the pick up. If you have arrived, we will remain on standby until conditions improve or it becomes apparent that it is not possible to jump for the rest of the day.

In any situation where you are unable to skydive due to the weather, we will refund any payment and deposit made. You can also choose to reschedule the jump or transfer your credit to another person.

How should I prepare for the skydive?

You must bring a photo ID or passport to be registered. We recommend wearing a T-shirt, pants and closed-toe shoes. Please do not wear skirts, dresses and open-toed shoes.

On the day prior to your skydive, refrain from excessive drinking or taking drugs as you must be fully sober when you check-in at our facility. Please also do not scuba dive 24 hours before skydiving.

Why can’t I scuba dive before skydiving?

Decompression sickness occurs when scuba divers ascend too quickly for the saturated gases to come out of solution. The air pressure at 13,000 feet is lower than that at ground level; hence a recovery period of 24 hours is necessary to ensure that no such symptoms during your climb to altitude.

Can I eat before skydiving?

Yes, we recommend having a light meal or some snacks prior to skydiving. It is not ideal to jump with either a full or empty stomach.

What payment methods are accepted at the dropzone?

We accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, JCB, UnionPay and WeChat Pay at the dropzone. Note that all transactions are in Thai baht.

Am I fit enough for a skydive?

Skydiving is not at all a physically demanding activity, although medical issues could make it unsafe.

You must have a doctor’s certificate if you have health conditions such as, but not limited to: cardiac/pulmonary conditions or disease, high or low blood pressure, fainting spells, seizures or convulsions, nervous system disorder, dislocated shoulder or joint (unless fully recovered), artificial joints; kidney or related diseases, shortness of breath, hearing loss or impairment. Women who are pregnant also cannot participate.

If you are unsure, please contact us.

What happens if I miss my scheduled slot?

Please call us if you think you might miss the scheduled jump time. We cannot guarantee that you will still be able to jump, but we will try our best to fit you on a later flight the same day. The deposit will be forfeited in the event of no-show or if you are unable to skydive as a result of not arriving on time.
